Contemporary Dance (Ages 5–12) Contemporary dance is a fun and creative style that lets kids express their feelings and ideas through movement. It mixes elements of ballet, jazz, and modern dance, so students learn how to stretch, balance, jump, and move smoothly. In class, dancers explore emotions, storytelling, and imagination while building strength, flexibility, and coordination. It encourages individuality—there’s no single “right” way to move, just your own unique style!
